How to prepare very delicious mint chocolate at home

1- To prepare your 3-ingredient peppermint chocolate, you must first make sure that you have all the available ingredients. For this recipe, you will need two semi-sweet chocolate bars, one white almond chocolate bar, and peppermint candy canes.
We chose to use peppermint candy crumbs for this recipe because they are easy to break into small pieces. You can use round peppermint candies as a great barter. For chocolate, you can use semi-sweet chocolate like we did.
Or you can choose dark chocolate or milk chocolate option for a different taste. White chocolate almonds work well for the top layer.
2-One of the basic steps to prepare this delicious mint is to crush the candy cane before adding it to the chocolate. Using crushed candy canes brings out the delicious peppermint flavor in this recipe.
And that strong mint flavor pairs perfectly with chocolate. Open all your candy canes and use the food processor to crush the candy.
Add several mini candies and stir until almost crushed. If you don’t have access to a food processor, you can store the candies in a zip lock plastic bag. Use a rolling pin or even a bottle and roll it onto the candy cane. Beat the candies with a rolling pin to powder them if necessary.
3- In a baking dish, prepare 9 x 13 with parchment paper. If you don’t have a baking dish, you can use a cookie sheet instead. Or use a smaller square dish if that’s what you have on hand.
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the sweet chocolate according to package directions. It doesn’t matter if you overheat or overcook the chocolate during the melting stage.
Err on the side of caution and microwaving with shorter increments so you can stir and check your chocolate frequently. If you overheat your chocolate, it will start to solidify again. Or melt it in a bain-marie and after the chocolate melts, pour it into your prepared baking dish.
Using a spatula, create a smooth layer in the dish. Then, set your baking dish aside to let the chocolate set while you prepare the white almond bark.
4-While the dark chocolate layer is closing, completely chop the white almond chocolate and put it in a microwave-safe bowl and melt it according to the instructions on the back of the package, be sure to check yourself regularly and be careful not to overheat. After the chocolate is completely melted, add the chopped pieces of candy to the chocolate and stir.
He also adds the fine powder obtained from crushing the candy. However, if you really love peppermint and prefer a super strong mint flavor, you can add a drop or two of pure peppermint extract to the almond bark at this point.
Once the candy powders are combined, pour the melted chocolate almonds over the dark chocolate layer in your baking dish, smoothing it out evenly.
5-Then put the mold in the refrigerator for 2 hours until it closes and hardens, then chop it into desired pieces and put it in a dish and serve.
